Your Excellency, the Governor of Osun State,

Distinguished Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke,

Members of the Osun State Executive Council,

Esteemed colleagues from the Nigerian Society of Engineers,

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Mr. Governor, it is with profound honour that I address you today on this momentous occasion. I wish to begin by expressing my sincere appreciation to Your Excellency for graciously sparing your valuable time to meet with us. Your esteemed presence truly reflects your unwavering dedication to fostering collaborative relationships that advance the growth and prosperity of Osun State.

Appreciation

I wish to express my heartfelt appreciation for Your Excellency’s steadfast support for the engineering profession. Your hosting of the NSE Osogbo Branch on May 9, 2024, and today’s meeting with the National Executive Committee Members underscore your dedication to promoting strong partnerships with stakeholders in the engineering sector. We deeply value and appreciate your commitment.

We also commend the numerous ongoing projects under your leadership, which are transforming the State, improving infrastructure, and enhancing the quality of life for the people of Osun. Notable and praise worthy among the initiative is the launching of the 100 billion naira infrastructural project in 2023 which has now transformed into physical city roads and Local Government roads, hospitals, schools and flyovers. Your vision and drive for progress are commendable, and we are proud to witness the positive changes occurring across the State. I also want to put on record that your administration has the milk of human kindness judging from what our members told us about the prompt payment of salaries.
